Theodore

The Alexander family’s home was a photographer’s dream. Beautifully decorated with a neutral palette, every room had a big bright window that offered gorgeous natural light and everything was so tidy – which is very impressive for a family who just greeted a new baby!

They warned me that Theodore liked faking sleep, and they were not kidding. The first image of him with his eyes closed would totally fool you because he looks like a sweet sleeping angel, but as soon as mommy and daddy weren’t holding him anymore he completely woke up! Which is actually great because it allowed me to capture glimpses of his adorable personality and funny facial expressions. The cutest thing was when he decided that hanging out slightly upside down on his mommy’s lap was the way to go! But he did eventually settle like a champ, after lots of cuddles, milk, patience and a little help from mom, dad and grandma.
